Whether it be for Halloween, a costume party, or just a night out, I have a feeling that this is going to be the season for the Smurfette attire. This is mainly due to the Smurfs movie being due to come out very soon, and the Smurf generation is just old enough to be able to dress up like a blue creature whenever they like!

Dressing up in a Smurfette dress is not tough to try. You will need to get all of the stuff together. You can buy a kit online, or you can get/make the separate things yourself, even saving time, but maybe getting a bit of frustration in the process.

One thing which is important to think about is skin allergies. Most Smurf costumes will need or include blue body or face color. If you have delicate skin or allergies, you might want to reconsider. One basic thing you can do, whether or not you have sensitive skin, is get the paint early, and test it on a hidden area of your body. Observe it for the next couple hours to see if it itches or breaks out. Wash it off at the end of the day, but keep checking the spot. Remember that whatever it does on that spot, will do to your face, so this is a great way to prepare yourself.
