It's sad that the art from World War 2 made in this country wasn't of a more noble and higher standard, but if you wish to understand history, you have to be willing to take the good with the bad, and that's that. Whether or not you like it or detest it, the fact remains that there is a lot of World War 2 art which is truly worth looking at.

One of the World war 2 art works that has the most lasting effect is the icon of Rosie the Riveter. This was part of a series of works of propaganda to inspire ladies to join the labor force to help build weapons. Of all of the World War 2 art that was made, this image is one of the only ones which has truly stuck around for the long run, motivating feminists to coordinate. If only more World War 2 art had such noble effects!
